Ken LaMotte
Secretary

As our Corporate Secretary, Ken is responsible for ensuring that we meet all legal obligations necessary to maintain our 501(c)(3) public charity status. He has also reviewed and updated our organizational policies and procedures and continuously monitors our activities to ensure compliance.

Ken has over 45 years of experience in corporate law, having practiced in Southwest Michigan since graduating from the University of Michigan Law School in 1966. Throughout his career, he has represented a wide range of privately owned businesses and trade associations in the Detroit area. Ken also took a mid-career break to become an owner and manager of several successful businesses.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ken was deeply engaged in his previous community on Sanibel Island, where he served on the boards of the Golf Club, HOA, and Condo Association.
