
Sherry Bailey
Program Co-Chair
Sherry currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Program Committee, where she plays a pivotal role in organizing the Belles and Beaus choral group. Her responsibilities include selecting music, coordinating numerous rehearsals, and assisting with the production of two concerts each year. Additionally, Sherry helps plan the live music and stage performances that provide regular entertainment for Bentley residents.
With a master's degree in music education, Sherry dedicated 35 years to teaching music at all educational levels. She taught elementary students, composed musicals for children, and directed numerous musical performances. She taught choral music and directed choirs. She also taught piano to musicians of all ages. Throughout her career, she served on local, state, and national boards for symphony organizations and music educators.
Sherry volunteered at the Birch Creek Music Academy in Door County, Wisconsin, where she met Jodie DeSalvo. This connection was later rekindled at Bentley Village, where Jodie now leads rehearsals for Belles and Beaus and occasionally offers independent concerts for the BV community.
