Reception Honoring the Bentley Wings Competitive Scholarship Recipients

BENTLEY WINGS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS DECEMBER 2018 AND MAY 2019

Steven Elsaid, son of Karen Elsaid, Administrative Assistant, Food and Beverage Department, is studying marine science at the University of Central Florida. Steven is receiving the Gene and Shirley Blanchard Scholarship.

Dianicar Estiverne, CNA in Assisted Living here at Bentley Village,is completing her studies for a registered nurse degree at Med-Life Institute. She is receiving the Patricia Curtis Scholarship

Kade Kaba is a CNA in Assisted Living at Bentley Village, who has worked in the medical field for 25 years. She is studying at Med Life Institute for her associate registered nurse degree. Her scholarship is sponsored by Joan Lane and Joan Casey.

Sylvia Lopez is an RN in the Bentley Care Center. She is a previous winner of a Wings Scholarship which she used to complete her RN degree in 2017. Sylvia will now be studying for a bachelors degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. She will be receiving the Dr. Roderick and Sandra Turner Scholarship.

Veronica Medina, a server in the East Clubhouse Dining Room, is graduating from Florida Southwestern State College and will continue her education focusing on courses necessary to apply to military medical school. Veronica's scholarship is sponsored by Ira Dash and Karin Moe.

Darla Menapole, a daughter of a Bentley employee, is graduating from Golden Gate High School with honors. She will be attending the University of South Florida studying Business Management, Public Relations and Health Care Administration. Her scholarship is sponsored by Richard Yoder.

Tashana Natalia Minnis, the daughter of Laura Minnis, an LPN at the Bentley Care Center, is studying pre-clinical health the University of Central Florida. Her scholarship is sponsored by Servicemaster Corporation.

Victoria Rivera, a Bentley employee, attends Florida Southwestern State College focusing in the medical field. Her goal is to become a Neonatal Registered Nurse. Her scholarship is sponsored by Marlene Geier and Eric and Valerie Bumstead.

Miriam Romero, a cook in Independent Living, is studying management at Florida State Western State College. She is receiving the Janet Tunstall scholarship.
